Nonprofit Tax and Legislative Update
Join us for a Nonprofit Tax Update to hear the latest developments impacting tax exempt organizations. Joyce Underwood from BDO USA will discuss the current climate at the Internal Revenue Service and on the Hill, and provide you with insights on the latest issues impacting the nonprofit industry.
Joyce Underwood is a Nonprofit Tax Director in BDO’s Greater Washington, DC office. She has more than 20 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations. As part of BDO’s Nonprofit & Education Industry Practice she provides compliance and consulting services to practitioners and nonprofit organizations locally, nationally and internationally, and works with BDO’s Institute for Nonprofit ExcellenceSM to provide the nonprofit industry with practical, transformative thought leadership and educational resources that help organizations navigate the dynamic and challenging industry.
Joyce is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, Finance and Administrative Roundtable, and Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants. She graduated with a B.A. in Business Economics, from the University of California at Santa Barbara
